Christmas holidays are almost over now. On Monday I have to go back to work. So I hurried to get at least a bit of another room done, Anna's study. The day before yesterday I layed the carpet tiles. There has still a lot to be done like making some electric installations and some cleaning and putting Anna's books into the big cabinet, but the room now looks like Anna planned it.
She wanted the furniture of her gandfather's study and she got them. The new carpet is gorgeous. Not this old green thing!
I've made an interactive panorama. Use your mouse to look around in the picture. You can turn around and zoom in. Enjoy!
And here are two "normal" pics:
We splitted all the furniture and other things which are valuable to us and Anna chose these things: Her grandfather's sofa, the little tables, the showcase, the leather chair and the big cabinet. All these furniture once stood in her grandfather's study.
This is my mighty desk. I can't get it upstairs, so Anna is happy she got it for her room.
Oh, I can't say how happy I am with the new carpet tiles! Removing the old green ugly carpet was terrible. The back of the carpet has decomposited long ago and decayed to loads of pitch black dust like you might know from the toner of a copier. When I was done I was covered with this black dust. It was in my eyes, in my ears, I swallowed it. Yuck!
But this is all forgotten now where there are new carpet tiles on floor!
