Another double room is nearly done, the bedroom of my daughter. It actually was two rooms, but they are connected by a door and so we decided to make them one big bedroom with sort of a little very private lliving area and closet for storing the clothes in the front room and with the big bed in the back room.
This is how the rooms originally looked like after we removed everything in there:

back room
At the moment it doesn't look much better, because there is still a lot to do. But the colors changed. No brown any more, but yellow colors. The front room is partly wallpapered and partly painted and looks like this now:

One wall isn't allpapered but only painted, because this is the space or the big closet from wall to wall. Through the door you can look into the hallway and into the front room of my bedroom.
The backroom is pained, but will get some decor with parts of the wallpaper pattern, which will hopefully be done next week:

One wall is in a darker yellow. This is where the bed will be.
Next week I hope to finish the room with cleaning it, hanging the lamps and some curtains and a lot of small tasks. I'm a bit annoyed because we can't lay carpet tiles in the moment, because we first have to save money. The carpet tiles we chose are pretty expensive, but of good quality and they shall cover all floors of the house to avoid too much small patches of carpets in different colors and textures. So this room and the last two rooms I finished don't have the look I wanted them. Without carpets they don't look very nice and done. Sigh!
The door between the two rooms, looking into the back room. O dear, still a lot to tidy up! The old door on the floor has to be hauled upstairs. We want to store it on the attic. You never know if you once need it again and it is an original door from 1897.
It was four days of work so long on these two rooms: One for preparing the walls and painting the ceiling, two for wallpapering and another day for painting the walls and the doors.
I don't feel well today, fever, headache. I've got a cold. But in two hours I have a viewing appointment with two families at the other house. Keep your fingers crossed that I can sell it. The entire constructing here in the old house depends on this.
I guess I have to lay down when I am back and I hope that this appointment doesn't take too long. I've got a realtor now and I hope that he will do all these appointments all alone in the future. It's too much work for me.
You are doing such a great job!!
But feel better soon! No being sick!
You know I have all fingers and toes crossed that the other house sells soon. Hopefully one of these two appointments will be all you need to sell it!

Thank you Ree, Hugs!
Perhaps your crossed fingers and above all toes (giggle) help. This morning only one appointment took part. But it was what I suspected: The woman who didn't appear was sort of Russian or so. I heard the accent on the phone. I must say that I have no good experience with these Russians here. It's better they don't come at all. It's always trouble and most of them behave simply terrible. This is not the kind of people I want to make deals with. The other appointment: No idea. We shall see. It's better you keep your toes crossed. It doesn't attract so much attention like having the fingers crossed all the time. ;o)
As soon as I know anything I will inform you. - I'm a bad friend. I still managed to answer you wonderful and long email, which I enjoyed so much. I hope I get it done this week. Sorry, Ree. Again hugs and greetings to Phil!
