This time no further run of the series, but simply my house after posting the view out of my window yesterday. I f my house could talk it would say:
"I'm a good house, very sturdy, cozy and safe like an old castle. Everone who made me (and there have been five generations of the same family living in me now), left a piece of his soul in my walls. I'm filled with all good thoughts of the ancestors and I protect my family from evil."
What a beautiful home!! It would be wonderful to be the fifth generation to call that house a home!

Your house is very lucky to have had such a good family to care for it and keep it "very sturdy, cozy and safe like an old castle." all these years. It's like a picture from a calendar.

Thank you Ree and Liza! The old house has experienced a lot. And two times it was very, very doubtful, if our family would keep this house. Once, when my father inherited it, because he had his own house far away in the Ruhr Valley, and last year, when I inherited it, because I also have another house. But we always decided to keep this good old house. Let's hope that there will be once a sixth generation in it!
